Grandaire air conditioners and air handlers use the EPA-approved and chlorine-free R-410A refrigerant, an environmentally sound alternative to R-22, for minimal effect on the Earth’s ozone layer.

Every Grandaire air conditioner and air handler is covered by a 10-year parts and compressor limited warranty*. Also included is a Unit Replacement Warranty‡, which provides a replacement unit if the compressor or outdoor coil should fail within the first year.
